All our schools are first and foremost Spanish language Schools.
We have discovered that people learn best when you can combine their
passions, for example horse riding, with Spanish immersion in a
supportive environment. We think Spanish is an important and interesting
language to learn. So what are the advantages of learning Spanish?
If you want to
travel, to really experience what a different culture is all about, and
to get the most out of your experiences – then learning the language so
you can communicate is the key! It pays to learn at least one other
language. The obvious choice is Spanish. It is one of the most popular
languages to learn in the world. Why, because after English, it is the
language that is spoken in a greater number, and greater variety of
countries than any other language. It is the official
language in 21 countries and approximately a further 100 million people
speak it as their second language.
And it’s not just in Spain or Latin America. I can still remember my
first time in Miami. Shop after shop spoke Spanish (and I didn’t).
Finally I saw a shop with a sign – ‘we speak English’ and in desperation
I went in. And this was one of the largest cities in America! By
learning Spanish you'll be able to communicate with another half billion
people. You may also be able to improve your career prospects. With
Latin American countries becoming more important as trading partners and
the popularity of Spanish is becoming very apparent in the last ten
years.
Learning Spanish
in a country where it is spoke is easier and faster than learning at
home. It produces better results and, just as important, it's much more
stimulating and fun. I know from experience that I can learn more in a
few weeks immersed in a Spanish society, than I do for a year sitting a
few times a week in a classroom!
Learning Spanish will mean that you truly experience the romance
of Venezuela, the stunning exotic beauty of the snow capped
Andes, the sublime beaches of Cost Rica, the mighty Colombian
Amazon, the intoxicating effect of the dancers of the Flamenco,
the variable and numerous free "tapas" in Granada, the
bullfighting in Seville, the remote and simple lives of the
Bolivian Mountain people … learn Spanish and experience the
world! |
