Bordered by the enormous territories of Argentina and Brazil, by large rivers and by the Atlantic Ocean, Uruguay has an excellent location. You will be astonished by the pure white sand of its beaches, and the  small bays with peaceful waters.
Spanish is the only language spoken in Uruguay. It has a very strong cultural and ethnic unity, characteristics that have helped to develop a tolerant and democratic country. Our school is located in the capital city, Montevideo, which was  recently declared as the second safest capital city in the world. It is an excellent choice as a location to learn in South America. Just out of the city there is excellent horse riding opportunities. Both in the countryside and along the beaches.  In fact Uruguay is world famous for its ‘gauchos’ or horse riding cowboys. Still in the countryside and small towns  of Uruguay you will see many gauchos riding. It is itched in the history of the country.
